Title of Entry: CSUSB 'Join the Pack' Digital Viewbook, Informational Inserts and Swag

About this Entry: The COVID-19 pandemic instantly caused Cal State San Bernardino to change the way it was communicating with prospective students throughout its pipeline [both prospective freshman students as well as prospective transfer students].

With the California State University system announcing in Spring 2020 that the Fall semester was going to be virtual throughout all 23 campuses, we had to instantly pivot to create our various recruitment materials to electronic. Gone were physical visits with prospects, gone were events were large group of students could be addressed. We had to find ways to communicate our various materials in electronic formats.

The CSUSB Office of Strategic Communication in partnership with the Enrollment Department created multiple electronic materials that allowed students to get information, have websites to see recruitment materials, have a place to download a wide variety of digital CSUSB swag. All this was done in-house with limited staff and on a very tight turnaround given the rapidly changing environment the pandemic was causing.
