Title of Entry: Jordan Campus Student Center

About this Entry: The Jordan Campus Student Center, a project that students voted to self-fund through fees in the mid-2000s, is scheduled for completion in spring 2021. The Center will house numerous support services vital to our students' success, and its opening will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Jordan Campus, one of Salt Lake Community College's (SLCC) largest sites.

Development was given the opportunity to raise support for the new Center, with funds raised going toward scholarships and other assistance, and equipment needed by the Center's new inhabitants. This presented a distinctive opportunity for donors to support a large and visible project while knowing that their gift will provide an unusually direct benefit to SLCC students. The fundraising team commissioned a piece that was modern, reflecting the facility's aesthetic, while being flexible and making wise use of financial resources.
